New Color for Pantry Door

Hello!  This week is just flying, at least we are closer to the weekend.  After I did my kitchen tour , here, I was not liking the white pantry door.  I have been looking at getting a frosted glass door, but have not found one I loved.  But, now after looking at the picture I wanted something dark to go with the fridge on one side and the ovens on the other side.  It is strange that seeing a picture gives a better idea of how something looks vs seeing it in person.  Here is the before...

And here is the now...

I think it looks so much better.  It blends in better then having that big splash of white.  So what do you think?

I will be joining:

HI Toni! You did it, this looks wonderful! I do like your door painted black and it goes with your appliances so well. You did great!
Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)

I like it. I think I would just label it somehow, with a sign or painting the letters or vinyl letters. I also like screen doors on pantries. Paula Deen has one that I adore.

It does blend well your your appliances. Isn't it funny how we 'forget' about doors, a/c vents, electrical outlets, etc. in our color scheme? Well, at least I do. :) YOU did a great job. Oh, and you did a great job on your kitchen. I looks sooo nice.

What an amazing difference. Showing the before and after is astonishing. I wonder how many things like that in my house could use that punch.

I love it! I think it looks so much better! And the fingerprints won't show as much! I am thinking of doing the same thing to some of my interior doors! Awesome job! Angie xo

I love it. I have a can of black paint that is itching to be used. We just painted our cream colored mantle to black and it just popped! It looks amazing.
