Christmas Dining Room

Today I am sharing my dinning room dressed for Christmas.  I did not add much to this room, just a few seasonal touches.  The Anna Lee elves hanging from the chandy is such a fun touch and always gets many comments.

Look at their sweet little faces...they love to hang around and cause mischief.

On the table is a couple of candlesticks with gold glitter candles and rusty angel wings.

And  a large platter filled with faux sugared fruit, greenery and gold ribbon.

Over on the buffet is a golden reindeer, cloche with a winter scene and a large tea light holder. Sorry about the glare - I have yet to figure out how to take a picture without the glare from glass. I would love to here your tips, please!

Here is the cloche...

Over on the chocolate table is a mini cloche,  poinsetta and a little arrangement that matches the Bombay Christmas tree that is in the foyer.

Here is looking into the dining room from the foyer.

I have kept the whole house very simple this year since the best guys in the whole world did the decorations under my direction.  I hope you enjoyed the look at our dinning room dressed for the season.  I have really enjoyed visiting all your homes this week.

I will be joining these parties:

Newbie Party

Amaze Me Monday

HI Toni, so nice to meet you!!!! I loved seeing your beautiful touches in the dining room. The elf hanging upside downmade me LOL! I will browse around your blog now and will follow you back too. XO, Pinky PS, is the glare from your flash? If so, don't use a flash whenever possible. If it is sun glare maybe stand at and angle to the picture???? Not sure.

Your home is so pretty! Love those playful elves hanging off your chandelier like that. I think alot of people have gone more simple this year. Must be a sign of the times. If you're trying to avoid a glare on glass when you take pictures, try turning off the flash. I think the flash reflects back in the glass and gives you that glare you don't want. That's all I can think of to get rid of it.

So elegant, Toni. You have such lovely taste. I love the little scene under the cloche. BTW if you figure out how to get rid of the glare, I would sure like to know. I'm getting a new camera for Christmas that is supposed to be good in low light...maybe then I can dispense with the flash in some situations. =D

The elves remind me of Christmas when I was a child. My Mom loved to decorate with these little charmers and they could be found all over the house. Your home is very elegant -- thanks for sharing with us at Sundays with Santa.

Hi Toni,

I love your Anna Lee elves! :) They carry those at our local Home Goods store, and I've been thinking about getting a few for myself. Your home is really lovely, and your decorations look so pretty.

Thank you for becoming a follower on my blog, and I'm now following on your blog, as well. I read your profile, and I prefer traditional styles in decorating, too. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour of Replacements, Ltd., and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
