Yes, a glass top table. So not what I wanted, but after looking for over a year to find one the right size that was not $3000+, this is what I got. The little bird vases where a recent find at HG. I just fell in love with them. This room is so dark that I have been trying to use more white to brighten it up. And since I can go to the yard and bring some of my smaller blooms in, they do double duty to lighten and brighen the room up.
A close up of the sweet birds with some rained beaten blooms. We had over a inch and a half of rain yesterday! The blue-purple is my lace cap hydrange and the pink I can not remember the name, but they grow fast and come back year after year.
I love this little orchid sitting on a silver tray with cloche protecting it. Makes me smile.
On this side I used these large "twig" balls. I found these and the moss balls at Kohl's of all places. I really like the texture them bring to the slick glass.
Here's another view from the breakfast area. You see the elephant in the room right? - all 73 inches! What's a girl to do when the Mister asks for so little?
Here's a view taken in front of the fireplace, looking towards the foyer to the left and dining room to the right. In the dining room you can see my next project - a drum table to refinish.
Thanks so much for visiting, I love hearing from you!

Love what you did to the table top...Beautiful things!!
The next time I travel to Georgia, I am definitely stopping in the Queen of Hearts...passed by it on our way back home and did not have the time to stop...looks like a wonderful place!
Coffee table shapes are hard for me too. Right now I am going with an old round one. I like your moss balls and birds. Happy TTT.
Think coffee tables are some of the hardest pieces to decorate and still make it look like someone lives in the house. You've done a great job putting out lovely things that you enjoy looking at and they all blend together. Kudos!
You made a beautiful choice on your coffee table! I most definitely need a new one. Your room is gorgeous!
What a big nice coffee table. Your vignette on the table looks wonderful. I love a big coffee table if you have space for one.
Oh I love your coffee table, so much like mine and I really do like the glass. YOurs is stunning. Beautiful finds, the bird vases are so unique and so pretty. Of course the cloche on a silver tray just steals my heart. Beautiful vignette and such a lovely room. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Hi Toni, I love the table decor. The birds are so sweet. You and I have alot in common. I love birds and I just bought some moss balls just like those. I found mine at T.J. Maxx. I also have a few twig balls and love cloches. Everything looks very fresh and great for Spring. I am now following you.
Hugs,
Jann
The table vignettes are great. Even if you don't love the table, it looks like the perfect size for the space from the picture.
Hi, Toni
I love your coffee table, but I have my eye on that lovely lantern on the floor next to the fireplace. Lovely! I need to get one of those. I enjoyed looking around your lovely blog and I am a new follower too. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the follower. www.homesweetbutterfly.com
