Antiques or Junk?

Hello and thanks for stopping by for a visit.  My 14 year old son loves to go to antique stores with me - who would of thought?! He is such great company and we always have so much fun.  Saturday we went to Fleu de Coop in Marietta, GA.

This is such a fun shop. They have everything from French antiques, rusty gates, dishes and garden items - and anything in between. The first thing we saw when we got out of the car is this huge deer.

And who could forget the suite of armor? Now I wonder where this would fit?

He is guarding the door leading to the outside garden/yard area.  There was so much that I would of loved to taken home with me!

Like this rusty wheelbarrow - can't you see it planted with some colorful flowers and parked out in the yard?

Or how about this big old wooden flag, perfect for all summer long.

Then there is the old, rusty fence....... let's head by inside and see what we can find.

Swoon...just look at the beautiful bed. Love the detail on the top and the sides.

This set of eight chairs - gorgeous! The clock is not bad either.

I know a lot of you love old scales, I think this was around $25.

I thought this was pretty unique. Love the eagle on the top.

Then there are the wine bottles in crates, $128 each. They where sitting on a monster of a table - 8 foot square with benches. You can see some of the stained glass in the back ground.  That is what I am on the hunt for.  We are having our  deck screened in and I would love to add a piece of stained glass at the bottom of the gable. In case you where wondering my son was on the look out for old kerosene lanterns, swords, old cameras and old phones.  We have different interest, but we always get so excited when one of us finds the "perfect" piece we are looking for.  I hope you enjoyed spending Saturday afternoon junking with us. I am in no way connected with this store - just love to stop by and see what's new.  Thanks so much for visiting and I really appreciate each and every comment.

Toni

I love going to shops like this...the chairs would be something I would like...but bet I wouldn't have liked the price on them.

Boy, this is my kind of shop!! I wish I could remember all the shops I read about so when we travel I can come up with them!
Thanks for commenting on my screened porch post; stop by for iced tea whenever you can. :) ~Zuni

This shop looks like so much fun. I know I would have been in there for a long, long time.

The wheelbarrow caught my eye. It's great and would look good with lots of summer annuals spilling over.

I am your newest linky follower! I LOVE this store!!! I would love to one day host a party where people shared their favorite places to shop. Places like these. I get to travel some, and would love to know of all of the great little places in small town America (and hopefully Europe. . . one day!) How special that your son will go with you! I have 3 girls, and I can usually find 1 or 2 that will go with me :) Thanks for sharing!!! I am going to have to give this place a visit!

Wow! What a great store....talk about treasures, and maybe a few laughs! I have a neighbor who actually has a full suit of armor on display on their front porch. :) Jane
